It's difficult for Australia to achieve unprecedented feats.

The highest peaks have long been mastered.

This is the unit that has won seven Cricket World Cups, in addition to an additional six T20 titles, and earlier maintained over three years undefeated in 50-over cricket.

The remaining milestones, those for the record chasers, are what's still available for a side that has achieved everything.

The fact it required until Sunday's victory by three wickets over India for them to accomplish their maiden ODI chase above 300, taking back their record for the largest in women's cricket's 50-over format, is, in truth, a tribute to the bowlers that have worn canary yellow over the last half-century.

Certain people claim the reasoning behind the pressure of a final. Different voices suggest with the challenge that comes when pursuing an unprecedented total and a raucous India-supporting crowd of 20,000.

What is certain is this ton was far harder to predict.

The Christchurch carnage in 2022 came as she was the highest scorer, but this knock was preceded by six games in India from the beginning of the previous month in which she had failed to pass 30.

"If you've been watching me in the nets, it has been a challenging time because it seemed I've had no rhythm whatsoever," stated Healy.

During the last week a sense they will succeed regardless of circumstances has only strengthened - this success coming after win against Pakistan by 107-run victory despite struggling at 76-7 at one point.
