I will stamp all over 'credible combatant' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to publicize next month's bout.

Ex two time world boxing king Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Boxer's Attitude

"I will injure his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.

"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I will seriously aim to injure him. That's my intention."

Respectful Interaction

In spite of these statements, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually recognized for his dramatics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul instead targeted ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Fighter

Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.

Paul's History

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

Still, the novice remains one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, consistently making massive earnings.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in round four or five and claimed he would prevent the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.

"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.

Size Difference

As the two fighters participated in the customary face-off, with their height and weight contrast evident, it highlighted just how surprising this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is actually going ahead.
